SOCIAL SERVICE GUILD :

1.The Capital Law College shall have an Association entitled “ THE CAPITAL LAW COLLEGE SOCIAL SERVICE GUILD”.

2.The objects of the guild shall be :-

1.The Capital Law College shall have an Association entitled “ THE CAPITAL LAW COLLEGE SOCIAL SERVICE GUILD”.

2.The objects of the guild shall be :-

a)To grant stipends and free ships to the needy and deserving students of the College.

b)To from a volunteer corps at time of any natural calamity, like flood famine, drought, fire, cyclone etc. to render help to victims.

c)To do any other work of a beneficial or philanthropic nature for the student community or for others.

d)To organize Eye Camps, Dental Camps, Blood Donation Camps etc.

3.The work of the Social Service Guild shall be conducted and managed by an Executive Committee consisting of the following :-

a)Principal –Ex-Officio President.

b)Vice-President to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of Teaching Staff.

c)The Secretary, to be elected by all students of the College.

d)The Assistant Secretary to be elected by all the students of the College.

e)Class representatives, to be elected from among the students of the College.

4.Election to the Executive Committee of the Guild shall be held simultaneously with the election for the office bearers of the College Union or at any other time prior to the Union election as the Principal may deem fit.

5.the nominated Vice-President shall scrutinize all accounts of the Guild to be maintained by the Secretary and the College Office.

6.The Secretary shall discharge the following functions –

a)Convene Executive Body meetings.

b)Record all proceedings in all meetings.

c)Invite applications for help from the students of the college.

d)Make efforts to raise the financial position of the Guild.

e)Work for the realization of the objects of the Guild as laid down in Clause-2.

f)Prepare an annual report of the working of the Guild and accounts for the previous year.

7.The Asst. Secretary shall discharge the functions of the Secretary in his temporary absence or if he resigns from the College or is otherwise incapacitated or dies.

8.The Principal has the Power to amend any provision in the constitution in consultation with the Executive Committee or otherwise as he deems fit.

9.The quorum for an ordinary meeting of the Executive Committee shall be three.

10. The Principal is the final authority in all matters relating to the Guild.
