Railway Concession to the Students :

Railway Student Concession Books ( A Form ) are supplied to educational institutions for a definite purpose in terms of rules 101 of IBCA Coaching Tariff, No. 22- Part -1, Vol –II such concessions are admissible to students of recognized educational institutions etc. when traveling for examination or educational purpose.

a )From their Schools, Colleges or Institutions in India to their homes or vice – versa.

b ) From their Schools, Colleges or Institution to an Examination Centre in India or vice-versa.

c ) From their homes to an examination centre in India or vice-versa.

d ) From Schools, Colleges or Institutions to Training Centers and vice-versa.

e )From Training Centers to homes and vice-versa  

f )From one training centre to another training centre.

NOTE :- The term “ Home” denotes-

i )Native place of the student, or

 ii ) The place where the parents or if no parent is alive the

guardian of the student normally resides.

Under the Railway concession rules issued by the South Eastern Railway, only students, who are prosecuting their studies in any one of the three Law Classes at the date of application are eligible to apply for such concession subject to the restrictions contained therein. Those students who have completed their courses of studies in Final Law and have left the College, are not eligible to apply for concession as they are ex-students even if they have not appeared at the examina
