DAY SCHOLAR’S ASSOCIATION:

1.The Capital Law College shall have an Association called “ The Capital Law College Day Scholar’s Association”

2.The object of the Association is to foster  through   cultural  activities, the

spirit of fellow-ship, co-operation and discipline among all the Day Scholars of the College.

3.There shall be an Executive Committee of the Association consisting of the following :

a)Principal- Ex-officio president.

b)Vice-President to be nominated by the Principal from among the teaching staff.

c)The Secretary to be elected by the students.

4.Election to the Executive Committee of the Association shall be held simultaneously with the election prior or later to the Union election as the Principal may deem fit.

5.The Secretary with the approval of the President shall organize all the functions of the Association and shall prepare the minutes of all meetings and shall be responsible for correspondence.

6.In the absence of the Secretary due to temporary difficulty or due to resignation, expulsion or any other reason, the Asst. Secretary shall discharge the functions of Secretary.

7.Any member of the Executive Committee shall be removed by a vote of no-confidence passed by 2/3rds of the members of the Association present at any meeting specially convened for the purpose with due permission of the Principal.

8.Any amendment to the above rules may be made by the Principal in consultation with the Executive Committee or otherwise as he deems fit.

9.Meetings of the Association shall be open to all the members of the Teaching Staff.

10.  The quorum for the Executive Committee shall be three.

11.  All activities of the Association shall be subject to the approval of the Principal whose decision in all matters shall be final.

12. The Principal can enlarge the scope of the duties and responsibilities of the Association consistent with its aims and objectives.
