COURSE OF STUDY :

The 3 years LL.B Course shall consist of Preliminary Law, Intermediate Law and Final Law and in Preliminary Law, there shall be 9(nine) written papers each paper carrying 100 marks. In Intermediate Law, there shall be 9(nine) written papers carrying 100 marks each and in the Final Law, there shall be 10(ten) papers carrying 100 marks each as recommended and prescribed by the Board of Studies keeping in view the recommendation and guidelines prescribed by Bar Council of India and UGC from time to time.

Paper-II Law of Crimes (IPC)

Paper-III Criminal Procedure Code, Juvenile Justice Act and Probation of Offenders Act.

Paper-IV Contract-I(General Principles of Contract from Sec. 1 to 75 and Specific Relief Act .

Paper-V Family Law –1 (Hindu Law)

Paper-VI Law of Evidence

Paper-VII Legal Language/ Legal Writing including General English

Paper-VIII Constitutional Law

Paper-IX Environmental Law

Intermediate Law:

Paper-I Human Rights and International Law

Paper-II Contract-II Act & Partnership Act.

Paper-III Property Law including Transfer of Property Act and Easement Act.

Paper-IV Law of Tort and Consumer Protection Laws.

Paper-V Land Laws including Ceiling and any other Local Laws.

Paper-VI Administrative Law

Paper-VII Arbitration, Conciliation and Alternative Dispute Regulation Systems.

Paper-VIII Family Law-II

Paper-VIII Interpretation of Statute.

(c)    Interview Technique & Pretrial Preparation (Lawyer’s Chambers, Legal Aid Office)

The 5 years B.A.LL.B. ( Hons. ) course is divided in to Ten Semesters. During the first two years comprising of four semesters a student is required to read Social Sciences subjects like Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science and English Literature along with law subjects and   during  the   next  three  years  he/she  is

required to study purely legal subjects. The course of study also prescribes for practical training, Moot Courts etc. The details of the subjects are given :
