ATHLETIC
ASSOCIATION :

The
followings are the rules of the Capital
Law College Athletic Association.
1.The
Association shall be known as “ The
Capital Law College Athletic
Association” |

2.All students of the
College shall be members of the Association.
3.The Principal of the
College shall be the Ex-Officio President of the
Athletic Association.
4.The affairs of the
Association shall be managed by an Executive
Committee consisting of the following members :
a)President –
Principal ( Ex-Officio )
b)Vice-President :- A
member of the teaching staff to be nominated by the
Principal.
c)The Secretary to be
elected by all the students of the College.
d)The Asst. Secretary
to be elected by all the students of the College.
5.Election of the
members of the Executive Committee shall be held
every year on a date to be fixed by the Principal,
which shall preferably be the date on which the
election to the office bearers of the Union is held.
However the Principal may hold the election at any
other convenient time before the Union Election.
6.Any vacancy caused
in the Executive Committee due to death,
resignation, college-leaving, expulsion shall be
filled up by the Principal by nomination in
consultation with other members of the Executive
Committee.
7.The tenure of office
of the Executive Committee shall be till the end of
the academic session during which the election or
nomination takes place. However the Secretary and
the Assistant Secretary shall continue in the next
academic session till the new Secretary is elected.
If both the Secretary and Assistant Secretary shall
leave the College before a new Committee is
constituted then the work of the Association shall
be carried on by the Vice-President.
8.The work of the
Executive Committee shall be ;
a)To prepare the
budget for the year,
b)To assume General
Management,
c)To effect promotion
of the games and athletics among the students.
d)To hold Annual
sports.
9.All amendments to
these rules shall be made by the Principal.
10. The quorum for an
ordinary meeting of the Executive Committee shall be
three.
11. Work of the
Secretary :
a)He will be in charge
of the accounts and correspondence in connection
with the activities of the Association including the
ordering of goods.
b)He will be the
General Superintendent of Games.
c)He will be the
convenor of the meetings of the Athletic
Association.
d)He will prepare the
annual report.
12. The Assistant
Secretary shall discharge the functions of Secretary
during his temporary absence.
13. The Principal is
the final authority in all matters relating to the
Athletic Association.
